Katie Grossnickle Unveils The New Look of Putting On The Glitz

Putting On The Glitz (POTG) which was owned by Cindi Miles of Georgia was recently purchased by Katie Grossnickle of Winona Lake, Indiana. POTG offers a line of show jackets, casual wear, ball caps and jewelry.

One of Grossnickle's first items of business was to have her logo re-designed to reflect her style. "My new logo has a more classic--Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, John French look that fits closer to my personality and design aesthetic. I am keeping the name just adding a new look to it. Things are going to be busy, but I am so excited to own my own business.”

“My customers are women of any age who love to shop! I would like to carry a small men’s line at some point as well,” said Grossnickle, who also currently shows in the all-around events with Brent Maxwell and western pleasure futurities with Brian Cox. “I do plan on adding my own flair along the way.

While at the Gold and Gulf Coast show in Florida, Miles approached Grossnickle about purchasing her business. “I decided to buy POTG, because I wanted to keep showing my horses, so, now, I have to go to the shows. I grew up being on the road, and I seemed out of place when I wasn’t gone every weekend. I am really excited to be able to continue doing what I love and hopefully make a living off of it.”

After what seemed to be months of paper work, it was finalized, and Grossnickle took over ownership at the Cloverdale, Indiana show in April.

Putting on the Glitz will be at many upcoming major shows across the country including: Harlansburg, Pennsylvania over Memorial Day weekend, the IQHA State Show June 10-13, the Tom Powers, June 25-27, the Reichert and NSBA World in August, and the Congress in October.

GoHorseShow.com congratulates Katie on her purchase, and we look forward to seeing her at the shows!
