About The Cover

Rodrock Ranches had an amazing year with two new stallion acquisitions. In May they purchased A Scenic Impulse, a beautiful 15.2 hand chestnut overo stallion. This stallion is not only an accomplished show horse but the Rodrocks felt he would become a strong sire in the paint industry.

This prediction has become true with 2010 yielding two Reichert champions, a clean sweep in the two year old class at the Iowa Futurity, and two APHA World Champions! These foals are simply amazing!

The Rodrocks also expanded their Ride to the Riches program to include mares that will be bred to A Scenic Impulse in 2011. This program will pay $25,000 to the owner of the first open APHA World Champion in the western pleasure sired by A Scenic Impulse as well as $6,250 to the breeder of record.

This program will begin with his 2012 foals. A Scenic Impulse stands at Gumz Farms in Kentucky and has maintained his previous breeding fee of $1,500. More information on A Scenic Impulse, Rodrock Ranches and their breeding program is on line at www.rodrockranches.com.
