Al Be Graceful has been dominating the three year-old hunt seat futurities this season with owner Adria Smith and open rider, Trisha Yamber. Affectionately known as "Allie”, this 2008 bay mare by Allocate Your Assets out of Polished Grace just won the SIF Three Year-Old Hunter Under Saddle and was Reserve Champion in the Signature Three Year-Old and Over Hunter Under Saddle at the Reichert Celebration.

"Allie has had a tremendous success in the pen this year, and it is wonderful to add a Reichert win to her 2011 Show Record," Adria says.

According to Smith, Allie was raised by Debbie Hodde of Hodde Quarter Horses in Brenham, Texas. Allie's Dam, Polished Grace, was Debbie's old show horse and a very special mare to her. Allie was the last link she had to Polished Grace which made parting with Allie difficult.

"Allie is a very kind mare and easy to work around. Her personality continues to emerge and I always find new things that interest her," Adria remarks. "She has a beautiful top line that shows well in the pen and has a trot that is breathtaking."

Congress is the next stop for Allie. Both Trisha and Adria will be showing in the Three Year- Old Hunter Under Classes. After that, their plans are to qualify her for the World Show then send her to Gumz Farms for breeding.

"We are very excited about crossing her on both of our Stallions - Iron Age and These Irons Are Hot," Adria proudly says when talking about her stallions. "We are going to flush an embryo from her by Iron Age and one by These Irons Are Hot. Once we have two embryos from Allie she will return to Carl and Trisha for the spring and summer shows.
