UPDATE 10/11/12: Professional Auction Services has released complete results for everything  sold at the live auction of U.S. District Court-ordered dispersal of horses in United States of America v. Rita A. Crundwell.

The U.S. Marshals Service has released data regarding the sales proceeds for auction of Rita Crundwell's horses and related items.

Summary of ALL Sales Results:

Horses via live auction (319 lots on Sept. 23-24): $3,797,300
Horses via online auction (80 horses, ended on Sept. 12): $1,641,200
Frozen horse semen: $98,500
Tack and equipment: $892,945
Luxury motor home (online auction ended 9/25): $800,000

UNOFFICIAL TOTAL: $7,229,945

The Crundwell sale put on by United States Marshals Service and managed by Professional Auction Services has just finished in Dixon, Illinois. People started arriving before 6:00 am and were taken from the designated parking areas to the farm by multiple shuttles which started running at 7:00 am. There were more than 1,000 registered bidders on hand who paid $250 for the chance to bid on over 300 horses, trucks, trailers, equipment and multiple items of tack.

On Sunday, more than 2,000 bidders gathered at her Dixon, Illinois ranch as auctioneers sold off 146 more horses and related items. The earlier online auction brought in $1.64 million for 80 of Crundwell's horses.
Congratulations to Sandra Morgan of Canada who purchased the stallion Good I Will Be for $775,000. GoHorseShow.com featured Sandra Morgan after she won $35.7M in the Canadian Lottery in May of 2011.

Not alot of ROI considering she stole 50 plus million and the sale only neted a little over 7 million.

Wonder if she ever thinks to herself "Wonder what the little people are doing" ...... "Oh silly me what am I thinking ..... enjoying their freedom of course"
