AQHA Professional Horsewoman Stacy Westfall announced on her website the death of her talented bridleless reining horse TSW Can Can Vaquero.
“Vaquero” was euthanized May 7 after being treated at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, for neurologic symptoms. He was found to have a bony, arthritic growth sticking in the spinal column in his neck. Stacy said on her website that it was considered a growth defect, not something caused by an injury.
