Katy Jo Pickard’s Cowgirl Outfit by Connie’s Customs

When it comes to show clothes, do the male trainer’s have it easy or what? Throw on a starched shirt, a tie (sometimes), and some chaps, and they’re ready for the show pen. Women trainers don’t have it so good - they are constantly faced with the dilemma of dressing up while still maintaining a professional look. That’s exactly what Katy Jo Pickard accomplished during her winning ride in the Reichert $250,000 class in August. Her custom jacket from Connie’s Customs was a little bit country, a little bit bling-bling and a lot Katy Jo. Connie did a great job capturing KJ’s cowgirl personality while giving it enough style with the fringe, rhinestones and hand-painting, to be sure she didn’t get lost.
