The MAQHA Easter Eggstravaganza, held at the MSU Pavillion in East Lansing April 4-8, was an unqualified success! There were nearly 4,000 entries and it was an exciting and highly competitive show with six and seven point Amateur classes.  The weather cooperated, with beautiful sunny days and moderate weather so the outdoor rings could be used for warm ups.

Judges Manita McKool, Daren Wright, Lori Gingrich, and Nancy Wilde worked long hours sorting through the large classes of high caliber horses and exhibitors.

A pizza party was enjoyed by many on Friday evening while the kids enjoyed the annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday. The MQHYA was also busy that day with a silent auction and raffle for a television. On Easter Sunday services were provided and an Easter breakfast was enjoyed by many.

All Reserve All-Around High Point award winners received a $130 GoMag gift certificate. The MQHA staff would like to thank the sponsors of this show: Western Accents, L & K Electric, Shiery Animal Clinic, Bauer Gooding Show Horses, Chris' Custom Creations, Justin Hester QH, Sandusky Car Wash, Brandt Blanket Co, Masterson Farms, Schneiders, Reincke Farms, Spartan Stores, Oakdale Large Animal Clinic and GoHorseShow.com.
