The month of September brought rains and devastating flooding to the state of Colorado and its horse community. One family it particularly affected was the Alexanders. They lost their three year-old son's pony, Snow White, to complications during this awful time. They put thousands into trying to save her which left them no money for a replacement prospect.

In the past three years, The Southern Belle has paid out $1.3 million in winnings, with just over $1 million being paid in the Breeders division.
The Southern Belle Invitation is proud to announce our affiliation with The Big A and The Stars and Stripes 2012 show. The manner in which exhibitors and owners demand value from equine events has changed and in an effort to stay current and offer our breeders, owners and exhibitors more opportunities and exposure, we have decided to combined our Southern Belle Invitation July 2012 show with The Stars and Stripes and The Big A 2012.
