"The Circuit by the River show had a lot of unique and fun opportunities for exhibitors," Amateur Tina Freeland told GoHorseShow.
"We paid out $2500 in cash prizes and $300 in show bucks to youth and rookie exhibitors," says Patrick Kayser, the show manager for the show. "It was a great weekend with great exhibitors, and there was an sense of community and an environment of cooperation--a lot of fun had by all."

The MAQHA Easter Eggstravaganza was held April 17 through the 20th at the MSU Pavillion in East Lansing, Michigan. The judges for the show were Pierre Briere, Leonard Berryhill, Murray Griggs and Robin Griggs. All four shows counted for MQHA points and they had a flat fee of $310 that covered unlimited classes, a stall, and fees for one horse. There were over 3,000 entries for the entire show.

The Virginia Classic just wrapped up with amazing prizes and steep competition in a variety of different events. The show was held April 10 through the 13th at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington, Virginia. The judges for the show were Tim Abler, Clint Fullerton, Jennifer Thompson, Jennifer Leckey and Bruce Walquist.

The 2014 AQHA/NCQHA Martinganza took place April 3rd through the 6th at the Senator Bob Martin Eastern Agricultural Center in Williamston, North Carolina. The show had outstanding judges including: Tanya Green, Rhonda Replogle, Nancy Sue Ryan, Larry Hansch, and Kelly McDowall. There was a $225 flat fee for all five judges. "What a fun show," Non-Pro Exhibitor, Liz Barnard Hay raves. "Wonderful weather, great friends, and big classes."

The Gordyville 10 Day run was a huge hit with lots of point and prizes given away. It consisted of 12 shows in 10 days. The judges for the show were Jeffrey Pait, Gretchen Mathes, Butch and Patty Campbell, Rick Christy, Melissa Dukes, Holly Hover, Sissy Anderson, Dawn Clason, Rick Meredith, Mark Sheridan, and Russ Smith.

The Southern Ohio Quarter Horse Association's Madness in March is a wrap. Despite a snow storm that hit the show, this year's event attracted huge numbers, with more than 600 stalls sold. The judges were Andrea Simons, Jill Newcomb, Dean Bogart, Marty Jo Hays, Curtis Reynolds, Kendra Weis, and Jonathan Meilleur.

The show has leveling classes, affordable day fees, NSBA dual approved classes and huge trail and western riding classes.
The Silver Dollar Circuit in Las Vegas is currently underway through March 23rd. The show is being held at South Point which the only place where you can take the elevator right down to your stalls, watch the horse show on television from your room and have a lot of family fun – all without leaving the property!

The weekend was blessed with sunny, pleasant weather, and many folks embraced that by riding in the outdoor arenas on the show grounds.
On March 7 through the 9th, the 2014 Spring Celebration Circuit kicked off the 2014 show season for the Tennessee Quarter Horse Association in Harriman, Tennessee. The judges were Shawn Hays, Robin Griggs, Tanya Green, and Kendra Weis. This show was bound for success, with fabulous weather in the forecast and more than 270 stalls were reserved going into the weekend.

The 2014 American Quarter Horse Association Convention is almost a wrap and ends March 10 at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans in New Orleans. AQHA holds an annual convention to review member-submitted rule changes, appoint new AQHA directors, induct new members into the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame and present year-end awards.
