The Appaloosa Horse Club kicked off the 2008 World Championship Appaloosa Youth Show in Jackson, Mississippi. The show runs through June 28th and is then followed by the 61st National Appaloosa Show, June 29 ~ July 5.

The Appaloosa Horse Club held elections for its Board of Directors and the results are in! There were contested elections in two territories, Territory I (Zone A) and Territory III (Zone A).

Owners of Appaloosas registered with the ApHCC have a wonderful opportunity to dual-register their Appaloosas with the ApHC.

New for the 2008 National Show, six slot classes offering prize money and prestige.

A few of the slot classes offered are 3-Year-Old Western Pleasure, 3-Year-Old Hunter Under Saddle as well as Yearling Fillies and Yearling Colts/Geldings Halter.
